Brazil brings to the Cuban capital more than 6,000 texts published in Spanish and a large delegation that includes renowned writers and cartoonists and well-known musicians, to share on the island manifestations of a cultural symbiosis typical of that vast and multiethnic nation.
More than 45 countries will participate in this event, represented in the various spaces of the San Carlos de la Cabaña fortress, located in the east of this capital, and other sub-sites.
As every year, the Fair becomes a propitious place for the exhibition, promotion, commercialization, and negotiation of the most genuine Cuban and foreign literature through the thematic diversity of genres and formats.
The public will be able to take home the titles available both in paper and digital format, and this can be downloaded for free in their respective presentations, according to the Cuban Book Institute, the main organizer.
When the event closes in Havana, this literary festival will be extended to western Cuba (March 6 to 10), then it will reach the central region (March 13 to 17) and will conclude in eastern Cuba from March 20 to 24.
