The professor pointed out in his Facebook account that the Spanish hotel chain Meliá has become the leading hotel chain in four countries in three different continents, in addition to having an outstanding presence in other territories where it has more than 2,000 rooms, according to Desarrollo.
Thus, he insisted, the largest Spanish chain by number of rooms, with more than 90,000, is crowned as the undisputed leader in Spain, where it has 133 hotels and 22,042 operating rooms.
However, it also has a strong presence in Cuba, with 34 hotels and 14,252 rooms, in Albania, with three establishments and 685 rooms, and in Vietnam, where it has 22 hotels with 6,287 rooms.
Its presence in these countries will increase in the coming months due to the projects it has in Pipeline (sales funnel), according to data provided by the Mallorcan chain.
