Venezuelan Attorney General Tarek William Saab informed on Monday evening that the said citizen was accused of treason, conspiracy, terrorism, and association, among other crimes.
Sosa and six other individuals were presented at a preliminary hearing on Monday for their alleged links to the conspiracy known as “White Bracelet,” which aimed to kill President Nicolás Maduro and other top officers.
They also planned to attack several military units in San Cristóbal, in the northern state of Táchira, and other facilities throughout the country.
Saab stated that after issuing the respective arrest warrants, the Public Prosecutor’s Office proceeded “within the corresponding legal deadlines” and in compliance with human rights and constitutional guarantees.
