According to the Wam News Agency, in an interview with that media outlet, AlBudaiwi assessed that under the leadership of the president, Sheikh Mohamed biin Zayed Al Nahyan, this territory is leading the pioneering development process towards greater progress and prosperity.

On the sidelines of the World Governments Summit, which is being held until tomorrow in Dubai, the GCC representative considered that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has long supported the progress and joint action of that organization.

He also stressed the importance of this cooperation for the stability, security and economic prosperity of the region, as part of the necessary commercial, industrial and investment integration between the member states of the aforementioned Council.

He commented, on the other hand, that the CGT General Secretariat pursues the objective, through the Economic and Development Affairs Authority, of creating the Customs Union and establishing the Common Market, among other valuable structures.
