The Forum will meet on February 13th and 14th, and aims to become a catalyst for the development of new knowledge-intensive areas.
The meeting is considered key to presenting cutting-edge scientific solutions and technologies. It was organized by the Roscongress Foundation, and is supported by the Ministries of Health, Science and Higher Education of Russia, the Federal Medical and Biological Agency, the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Quantum Center.
“The Forum will become a place to shape the future of healthcare and will provide a unique opportunity to contribute to its evolution,” said the Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee, Anton Kobyakov.
He also said: “In 2024, the Future Technologies Forum will focus on the future of medicine. We will bring together scientists, doctors, and experts to discuss the main challenges in the development of modern technologies, including biomedical and neurotechnologies.”
Participants at the event will discuss genetic technologies as part of the medicine of the future, the development of neurotechnologies in healthcare, regenerative medicine, as well as biotechnologies in personalized healthcare, including active longevity technologies and preventive medicine.
The Forum is attended by government authorities, relevant departments, state corporations and companies operating in the biomedical and neurotechnology market, specialists from technology and innovation companies, research institutes, and scientists.
An exhibition is displayed in a room, next to the hall for debates, presenting innovative solutions in the fields of genetics and biotechnology, neurotechnology, programs that use the capabilities of artificial intelligence, as well as projects in the sphere of regenerative medicine and biological safety.
The Future Technologies Forum is held in the context of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia, announced in 2022 by decree of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
