The document was signed by Tanieris Diéguez, Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia, representing the Cuban Baseball and Softball Federation (FCBS), and Mark Marino, executive director of the New South Wales Baseball League (NSW Baseball League).

According to cubaminrex.cu, both entities praised the mutual interest in establishing cooperative relations and common desire to collaborate in promoting and developing the baseball5 modality based on the fundamental principles of the sport.

The MoU´s main objective is to establish the legal basis for the initiation of a process of collaboration between both entities to reach sports exchanges in this sport.
