On X, the Cuban Foreign Minister reaffirmed his country´s willingness to continue strengthening solidarity and brotherhood relations with Iran.

On February 11, 1979, the Iranian Revolution, also known as the Islamic Revolution, led by Imam Khomeini, triumphed, putting an end to dictatorial regime of Mohamad Reza Pahlavi, in power since September 16, 1941.

The celebration is also a confirmation of Iran´s ideals and principles, which has been recently besieged by the United States.
