In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants condemned 17-year-old Moaz Bani Shamsa’s assassination in the governorate of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
The Ministry criticized “the vindictive fascist mentality that allows the expropriation and confiscation of Palestinian lives, lands and properties without any regard for morals, principles or international law.”
Such a mentality, which now prevails Israel’s decision-making centers, is the trigger of the current wave of violence and the deepening humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, the Ministry noted.
It also rejected Israeli settlers’ attacks on the West Bank, which it considered part of an Israel’s strategy.
In addition, it questioned the looting committed by the military of homes both in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank.
The theft committed by the occupation forces and militias against Palestinians are an expression of moral decay in coping with our people, the Ministry highlighted.
