Interview with Putin surpassed 60 million views

Moscow, February 9 (Prensa Latina) The interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin by US journalist Tucker Carlson obtained over 60.3 million views on X (formerly Twitter) seven hours after its publication, the TASS agency confirmed.

Furthermore, the number of views of the interview on Carlson’s YouTube channel exceeded 2.4 million.

Putin also entered the views trends on X in the United States in connection with the interview. The number of publications on the platform with a mention of the Russian leader exceeds 1.4 million.

According to Brand Analytics tracking data, Putin and Carlson topped social media mentions.

Carlson became the most commented person after Vladimir Putin (211 thousand mentions) on Russian-language social media in anticipation of the publication of the interview. On February 8th, users dedicated more than 71 thousand publications to the journalist.

Putin’s interview with Carlson lasted two hours and six minutes, during which the Russian leader answered about 60 questions.
