The meeting with the Cabinet has the purpose of planning the 2024 executive agenda and setting the government’s priorities, in a year marked by the elections set for next October.
The meeting will discuss the annual message with the balance and accountability that Lacalle Pou will give before the General Assembly of Congress on March 2nd, as well as the replacement of ministers due to the departure of several to compete in the electoral campaign.
The Minister of Tourism, Tabaré Viera, of the Colorado Party, is one of the party’s pre-candidates for the Presidency of the Republic.
