Carlson published a video message on Wednesday on X, with the Kremlin towers in the background, in which he stated that he had interviewed the president and that the material would soon come out on the networks.

Tucker explained that he did so because “most Americans are not informed” about the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and “have no idea what is happening in this region.”

The video announcement of the interview on X already has over 80 million views.

Carlson, 54, is known for his far-right positions, conducts independent interviews and publishes them on X.

He was a star host on Fox News and a staunch supporter of former President Donald Trump.

The journalist was fired in April 2023 after the channel was involved in a defamation case when he reported alleged electoral fraud in the 2020 presidential elections.
