In Deir Ezzor province, about 450 kilometers northeast of Damascus, soldiers from the Russian coordination center at the Hemeimen base in Latakia offered 300 basic food baskets to underprivileged people in Islah al-Husseinieh.

Abdulaziz Diab, head of the aid process, explained that the aid is distributed monthly and aims to alleviate the complex conditions Syrians are experiencing due to the US economic blockade.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry in Hasakeh province received supplies, generic and therapeutic medicines, saline solutions and medicines for dermatological diseases.

The Russian Emergencies Ministry, in turn, informed that it has established a training center for firefighters and rescuers in Syria.

To this end, Russia will provide Syria with locally produced machinery and specialized equipment so that the Syrian emergency services can respond to any situation.
