The constant updating on what is happening in Cuba, the attention provided by officials of the diplomatic headquarters always in favor of rapprochement with their compatriots in the African country was also praised.
Cuban Ambassador Jorge Lefebre recalled that the conference held last November 18-19 in Cuba was the perfect setting for addressing migration issues and others closely related to culture and identity, economic development and investments.
Lefebre recalled that in previous meetings the cost of migratory procedures and their delay, extensions, residence and travel permits, among others, were the major issues to debate.
He thanked the Cuban residents in Addis Ababa for their close contact and willingness to participate in the activities organized by the Embassy.
The third Secretary in charge of Consular Affairs Natalys Dinza, on the other hand, summed up about main issues raised by participants at the 4th Conference The Nation and Emigration, as well as the answers and proposals given by government officials in each panel.
