On X, Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CC PCC), strongly condemned the systematic violations of international law in Gaza and the West Bank since last October 7.

The indiscriminate bombings over Gaza people have claimed lives of tens of thousands of children, women, the elderly and innocent people, Ojeda posted.

Cuba´s Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez, on the other hand, reiterated his country’s permanent denunciation of the destruction of 50% of Gaza’s infrastructure.

Rodriguez detailed that in the four-month conflict, the so-called Israel Defense Forces destroyed 30 hospitals, 53 primary health care centers, 93 schools, 122 mosques, three churches, 130 government buildings and 65,000 homes.

Cuba has insisted on a pressing search for a comprehensive, just and lasting solution to the conflict which has lasted more than 70 years and prevents the Palestinian people from exercising their right to self-determination and to have a free and sovereign State.
