Yerlikaya noted that a man and a woman attempted to attack a guard post at the entrance of the Caglayan court, but both were killed.

He also indicated that the perpetrators were members of the Revolutionary People’s Liberation Front-Party, and described the incident as an attempted terrorist attack.

Following the incident, all entrances and exits to the court were blocked and police presence in the area was reinforced.
