The press office of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Rome informed during an event at the headquarters of the General Consulate of Cuba in Milan on Monday that Cubasol Business Group’s first vice president Liubersy Pérez outlined the potentialities of that entity.
Gihana Galindo, commercial director at the Cuban Ministry of Tourism; Susana Vázquez, commercial director of Cubasol, and Madelén González-Pardo, tourism adviser at the diplomatic mission, attended the event, chaired by Cuban Ambassador to Italy, Mirta Granda.
Details of Cuban projects and measures to support foreign investment were presented before representatives of financial institutions, developers of water, theme, and real estate parks, and suppliers of products and services that complement the non-hotel activity.
The Cubasol Group consists of Marlin S.A., Palmares S.A., Transtur S.A., Caracol S.A., Turarte S.A., and Cubagolf S.A. companies, which are dedicated to non-hotel tourism activities, with branches and service units distributed nationwide, Pérez said.
An estimated 1,100 exhibitors from 66 countries are participating in this year’s BIT in Milan, one of the significant events in Europe and the world. It is focused on the thematic exhibition areas of Leisure, with proposals for destinations and services besides BeTech, for digital services and start-ups, and Mice Village, with a focus on the Meeting Industry.
