During the funeral of the martyrs of the recent US attack, the leader declared that this incident will not go unpunished, considering it a direct attack on the position and dignity of the nation.

In this regard, he affirmed that the Popular Mobilization Forces will not accept the blood of their sons as a cheap political currency and urged the Parliament and political forces to take a clear position on the US action.

In this regard, Al-Fayyad emphasized that such an event represents a violation of red lines and stressed the need to clean Iraq from foreign presence.

According to the leader, the popular mobilization is the armed forces and Iraqi pride.

Earlier, they confirmed their willingness to comply with any order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces with the aim of preserving the sovereignty and territorial unity of the country.

Iraq decreed general mourning in all state departments and institutions for three days and expressed condolences for the martyrs of the armed forces and civilians. According to Iraqi government figures, the U.S. raids on Friday night and early Saturday morning resulted in the death of 16 citizens, 25 wounded and losses in residential buildings.
