Hezbollah condemns U.S. airstrikes over Iraq and Syria

Beirut, Feb 3 (Prensa Latina) The Islamic Resistance of Lebanon (Hezbollah) on Saturday strongly condemned the flagrant U.S. airstrikes over Iraq and Syria, which resulted in several dead and wounded people.

In a statement, the Lebanese political and military movement called the U.S. attack as a violation of the sovereignty of the two countries and an infringement of their security and territorial integrity.

At the same time, Hezbollah stressed that Washington’s aggression contributes to a regional destabilization.

In this regard, the Lebanese Resistance indicated that the hostile action is aimed at finding flimsy justifications for the continuation of the US occupation of several areas of Iraq and Syria against the will of their peoples.

The US aggression against Iraq, Syria and Yemen reveals the lies of the White House’s claims that it does not want to expand the conflict in the region.

Hezbollah also stressed that this fact pushes the Iraqi and Syrian peoples to join the path of resistance to liberate their countries from the US occupation.
