Chávez was struggle and dignity example, claims Nicaraguan politician

Managua, Feb 3 (Prensa Latina) Nicaraguan political leader Reyna Rueda claimed on Saturday that Venezuelan leader Hugo Chávez was an example of struggle and dignity, and his thought is beacon that illuminates today´s Latin American peoples and the world.

During an act in this capital to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Bolivarian Revolution (1999), Rueda, also Managua Mayor, added that Chavez sowed the seed that germinated and flourished and now bears fruit in the region.

“Today we are filled with joy and we remember that tireless man, Commander in Chief Hugo Chávez who made it possible for us to commemorate these 25 years”, Rueda said.

Nicaragua´s National Assembly President Gustavo Porras, on the other hand, heaped praise on the day that Chavez took office in his country to make the democratic transformations the Venezuelan and Latin American homeland needed.

“In this way we continue with the legacy of Chavez and with the guidance and legacy of our Gen. Augusto C. Sandino, so the Bolivarian Revolution, the Sandinista Revolution, the Latin American Revolution goes forward”, she stated.
