Several streets will remain closedin different parts of the country where 1,595 voting centers located in schools or open places will be installed.
Bukele must be present there amidst a large deployment of security personnel as when he presented his candidacy which was approved on November 3.
“The TSE made the request and it was approved by the Deputy Ministry of Transportation, to close nine streets that will serve as voting centers, there will be installed ballot boxes”, announced Nelson Reyes, Deputy Minister of Transportation.
It is known so far that President Bukele will vote in Avenida Olimpica; Joel Suarez, the Nationalist Republican Alliance (Arena), in the Albert Einstein University; and the candidate of the Farabundo Marti National Liberation Front (FMLN), Manuel Flores, in Quezaltepeque, La Libertad.
