According to UNICEF Lebanon, vulnerabilities have been exacerbated in the country by the hostilities, which led to the internal displacement of more than 82,000 people, 37 percent of whom are children.
In this context, the Fund assists citizens in collective shelters by providing non-food items, hygiene kits, cash, food, water, baby diapers, and medicines.
With the support of the Ministry of Education, more than 10,000 internally displaced children in the south and Nabatiyeh governorship have been referred and enrolled in public and private schools near their homes.
According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), some 60,000 Lebanese remain in border villages, and at least 25 civilians have been killed due to Israeli attacks since October 8th.
