At least six persons were killed and others suffered injuries after aircraft and artillery opened fire on Khan Yunis, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
Israeli helicopters and drones are also operating in the city, said the news outlet, which noted that several projectiles fell in the vicinity of the Nasser Hospital, which has been under siege for weeks by the IDF.
Palestinian authorities yesterday accused Israeli soldiers of storming the hospital and forcing medical staff, refugees and patients to leave it, even though Israel denied having done so.
Wafa denounced that the soldiers blew up a square in the center of Khan Yunis, the epicenter of a ground offensive since the end of last year, as part of the war campaign ordered by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
