Venezuela to revoke migrant flights if the U.S. ramps up aggression

Caracas, Jan 30 (Prensa Latina) Executive Vice President Delcy Rodriguez claimed on Tuesday that they will immediately revoke repatriation flights of Venezuelan nationals from the United States if they take a false step by ramping up the economic aggression against Venezuela.

The Bolivarian Republic “rejects the rude and undue blackmail and ultimatum” expressed by the U.S. Government, Rodriguez posted on her X account.

“If they take the false step of soaring the economic aggression against Venezuela, at the request of the extremist lackeys in the country, as of February 13, the repatriation flights of Venezuelan migrants would be immediately revoked,” she stressed.

The vice president indicated that any existing cooperation mechanism would be reviewed as a countermeasure against the deliberate attempt to hit the Venezuelan oil and gas industry.

The further minister of Economy, Finance and Foreign Trade expressed that Venezuela, inspired by its historical glory and dignity, will continue its efforts to recover the economy of the Republic with its own effort and in national unity.

Rodriguez thus responded to the statements made on Monday by the Spokesman of the White House National Security Council John Kirby, who established until April the deadline for the Government of President Nicolas Maduro to comply with the agreements signed with the opposition in Barbados last year.

During a press conference, the senior U.S. official threatened sanctions and said, “we have options at our disposal.”
