Between noon on Sunday and today, the movements credited to the adjustment of the tectonic plates have continued, and up to 6:00 a.m. (local time) have already produced 203 tremors, many of them not perceptible by the population.

The earthquakes had magnitudes ranging between 2.2 and 3.9 on the Richter scale, and only 15 were felt by the population in the west of the country.

The first tremor recorded was one of 3.9 which was followed by other movements, confirmed by MARN.

The entity alerted the population in the area to be attentive to official information, since “the occurrence of earthquakes of greater magnitude than those observed on this occasion is not ruled out. According to the analysis of the aftershocks forecast, this seismic activity will continue in the next days”.
