Such decision made in the 6th Cycle of the Peace Dialogue Table, will be pursued under the conditions of Agreement number 10 on June 9, 2023 and the protocols that have governed it, a joint communiqué disclosed on X provided the details.

The delegation of the Colombian Government and the ELN decided to continue the evaluation of the ceasefire in force in order to sign the extension that will strengthen, develop and include items related to the ceasefire, contained in Agreements 9-21, signed from June 2023 up to date.

On January 22, the 6th Cycle of the Peace Dialogue Table between the Colombian Government and the National Liberation Army was set in Havana.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez, recently reaffirmed his country’s willingness, as host of the cycle, to make an effort to guarantee the conditions for the sides to work and advance in the construction of peace in Colombia.
