At the event held in the state of Karnataka, in southwest India, Cuban Embassy Business Officer Abel Aballe, discussed Cuba’s development in this field and highlighted existing synergies for the development of trade relations and cooperation, particularly in terms of the Latin American and Caribbean market.
Invited as a panelist, Aballe communicated the intention of signing a memorandum of understanding on video games with the University of Informatics Sciences (UCI), of Cuba, as a first step for the development of the bilateral partnership in that sense.
According to the diplomat, the conference reflected the interest of India in strengthening ties with Cuba in these matters, mainly with the articulation of a greater integration between the film and audiovisual industries of each country with the purpose of filming productions in Cuba.
Aballe took the opportunity to extend an invitation to those present to participate in the main events in Cuba in the sector, with special mention to the 19th edition of the International Convention and Fair on Informatics to be held from March 18 to 22 in Havana.
