“We express our dignified and total rejection of the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States, a criminal act that the Cuban people have been suffering for more than six decades,” Prada told Prensa Latina.
She also stated that the unilateral reprisals imposed by Washington on sister nations such as Venezuela and Nicaragua are also unjust and arbitrary.
Prada described the actions perpetrated by Israel against the Palestinian people in Gaza as genocide, and criticized the US Government’s complicity in this crime against humanity.
The minister of the Presidency recalled the 171st birthday of Cuban independence hero José Martí (1853-1895) and highlighted the relevance of his thought.
