Cuban women’s organization decorates Chilean activist Alicia Alfaro

Santiago, Chile, Jan 28 (Prensa Latina) Activist Alicia Alfaro on Sunday received the 23 de Agosto medal, granted by the Cuban Women's Federation (FMC) as an acknowledgement of her work to promote women's role and their defense of the Revolution.

Cuban Ambassador to Chile Mercedes Vicente bestowed the medal to Alfaro at a ceremony in Santiago’s Ñuñoa neighborhood.
