This week, the President stated in a speech in the National Congress that her political proposal is based on the principles of democratic socialism.
The head of state added that her project emerged from the heart of the streets and was elevated to political power, through a true and clean democratic process: “I am the faithful testimony of the determination of a people to overcome their state of backwardness and poverty, that carries the weight of the debt but that, by majority, has chosen to win and build equality and justice without fear,” she said.
The Honduran people will celebrate this Saturday the second anniversary of the popular victory and the historic triumph in the president’s elections, for which a mobilization is scheduled in the capital.
