During a meeting on the sidelines of the work of the UN Security Council, the parties exchanged opinions and data on the latest events in Gaza and the region, as reported by the Lebanese Foreign Ministry’s account on X.
The Ministers also agreed on the importance of stopping the war and the danger of its continuation.
They also discussed the need to comprehensively address the causes of the conflict, ending the Israeli occupation and establishing the Palestinian State.
Bou Habib spoke with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, and they stressed the importance of Palestinian unity as a basis to restoring rights and achieving the promised State.
As part of his activities in New York, the Lebanese minister spoke with his counterparts from Norway, the United Kingdom, Austria and Switzerland, in addition to holding a meeting with United States authorities and the Chinese delegate to the Security Council.
