The majestic event, to be held from March 28-30, will be attended by specialists from Latin America, Europe and Cuba to discuss pediatric and adult reconstructive urological surgery, the organizing committee told Prensa Latina.
Among important issues to be discussed are oncology, novelties in surgical techniques, current developments in therapeutics of urinary lithiasis and other issues closely related to sexual and reproductive health.
The organizing committee, chaired by the head of the Urology Service of the National Center for Minimal Access Surgery, Tania Gonzalez, thanked foreign professors and national lecturers for their strong support for the congress.
Gonzalez also acknowledges the contribution of international urological organizations, the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), the National Council of Scientific Societies, research centers and national companies.
