In a letter addressed to the presidency of Prensa Latina, VNA Director General Vu Viet Trang expressed the certainty that the meeting will contribute to strengthening cooperation and the special relations and traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cuba, as well as mutual understanding between both peoples.

A dozen officials, experts and media directors are taking part in the New Operation Truth forum, which is taking place from January 21 to 23 at the Paseo del Prado hotel in Havana to debate the current problems of communication in the world.

The event is part of the 65th anniversary of the conference convened in 1959 by the historic leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro, to disseminate the reality of the nascent process of transformations in Cuba, and seeks to strengthen dialogue and promote counter-hegemonic communication in the region and the world.
