According to the minister, the reduction of the conflict in Gaza and the cessation of civilian deaths is one of Saudi Arabia’s main objectives.
In an interview for the U.S. network CNN, the Saudi Foreign Minister, referring to the reconstruction of Gaza, gave the same answer and warned that it is not possible to participate in such a task as long as there is no solution that assumes that the situation will not be the same in a year or two.
‘What we are seeing is that the Israelis are crushing Gaza, the civilian population of Gaza,’ he said. ‘This is completely unnecessary, completely unacceptable and it has to stop,’ the minister added.
Since the beginning of the Israeli invasion of Gaza, at least 25,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 60,000 injured, according to the coastal strip’s Health Ministry.
