Rodríguez wrote on his X platform that he addressed with Leyva the beginning of the 6th Cycle of Peace Talks with the National Liberation Army (ELN) in Havana.
The Cuban foreign minister also held several meetings on Sunday, among them with Eswatini Foreign Minister Pholile Shakantu.
He congratulated Shakantu on his recent appointment and expressed his satisfaction with the state of bilateral relations, “which correspond to the historic and fraternal ties between our peoples and governments.”
Rodríguez also met with his Tunisian counterpart, Nabil Ammar, highlighted the friendly relations between the countries, and reaffirmed the willingness to boost bilateral ties in several spheres.
The head of Cuban diplomacy held a fraternal meeting with Bolivian Foreign Minister Celinda Sosa and discussed issues on the bilateral and regional agenda.
