“The world must recognize a sovereign Palestinian state on the borders of June 4th, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital; statements of denunciation against Israel alone are no longer sufficient,” the diplomat said.
In a speech to Israel, Netanyahu expressed that if this international demand is realized “there will be no security and stability in the region” and warned that as long as he is at the head of the Government that will never happen.
“The entire region is in the crater of a volcano due to the aggressive policies applied by the Israeli occupation authorities against the will of the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights,” Rudeina responded, and blamed the United States for the aggression against the Gaza Strip and of the deterioration of security and stability in the area, due to their partiality and blind support to the occupants.
“Despite Netanyahu’s words, the Palestinian State exists with the recognition of the entire world,” he stressed.
On Thursday, the spokesman accused Israel of carrying out a total war of extermination against the population of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
“Aggression will not bring the Palestinian people to their knees or subjugate them, and, furthermore, it will not bring security and stability to anyone because military policies have demonstrated its failure,” he added.
