The National Civil Police (PNC) reported the arrest of Génesis Daniela Vásquez Pérez, aka “Bombón,” homegirl of the MS City Paradise Gánster Salvatruchos, who was dedicated to distributing drugs in Distrito Italia, in Tonacatepeque, and who was arrested with more than 500 portions of marihuana.
The drug was ready to be delivered, however, through an intelligence operation we captured this gang member in the Italia District, in Tonacatepeque, the PNC said.
The War against Gangs is hitting criminal structures at all levels. The frontal combat does not stop, the PNC said on its social media account.
In the last few week, military personnel seized drugs and arrested 14 distributors from January 8 and 15, all of whom were involved in the marijuana and cocaine trade.
The arrests were made in the departments of San Salvador, San Miguel, La Libertad, La Paz and San Vicente.
In addition to the offensive against drug trafficking and drug dealing, there has been a sharp increase in recent weeks in the fight against gangs, which contributed to 12 consecutive days without homicides in January.
