According to the Escambray weekly, Marrero reiterated his satisfactions for OCC during a Solemn Assembly held on Sunday at Trinidad´s Main Square.
On this occasion Marrero stated: “I would like to congratulates OCC for its commendable work in protecting Trinidad’s heritage”.
For Radelex Cartaya, Curator of Trinidad, Marrero´s words were an award to the effort OCC has been doing to preserve Trinidad for present and future generations.
For all, Caartaya recalled, Trinidad is a unique village, a gift from heaven, as researcher and doctor Alicia García Santana called it.
