Cuban business delegation begins visit to India

New Delhi, Jan 15 (Prensa Latina) Cuban First Deputy Communication Minister Wilfredo González began a visit to India on Monday, leading a business delegation to fulfill a broad program based on bilateral cooperation in this sector.

González met with the Indian Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Electronics and Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar.

The minister also participated in a meeting between the Cuban and Indian representatives at the headquarters of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and later met with executives of important companies in this country.

The first deputy communication minister will be the leading guest on Tuesday at the reception to celebrate Cuba’s National Day and the 64th anniversary of bilateral relations.

González will attend the three-day INDIASOFT Expo 2024, which will start in New Delhi on Wednesday, as one of the leading activities of the Cuban delegation in this nation.

INDIASOFT brings together every year representatives of more than 1,000 information technology companies at a fair that highlights the competitiveness of the Indian software industry.
