Young Costa Ricans with a downward trend in labor occupation

San Jose, Jan 12 (Prensa Latina) Costa Rican young population Rica from 15 to 24 years old shows a downward trend in jobs nationwide, according to the Continuous Employment Poll of the National Institute of Statistics and Census.

Such a trend means that those youngsters have decided not to look for work, essentially alleging personal reasons, for example, studies, travel and family obligations, the research highlights.

The analysis issued in Semanario Universidad daily stands out that by the time experts look at that population ranged 15-24, they can determine there is a remarkable drop in their labor occupation, but it is worth noting that the qualification, that is, educational training has a great incidence.

Alonso Alfaro, chief economist at the Central Bank referred that medium and low occupations have lower possibilities of returning to the labor market, so it is striking that youngsters say they are in the process of studying as part of their reasons for not seeking employment at this time.
