Esteban Lazo posted on ANPP´s official X account Cuban authorities´ full support for peace in Ecuador on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a “Zone of Peace”.

On Wednesday, Cuban leader Miguel Díaz-Canel strongly condemned the recent acts of violence committed in several Ecuadorian cities.

On X, President Díaz-Canel expressed his strong support for the Ecuadorian government and solidarity with families affected by recent violent incidents.

Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez reaffirmed his Government’s stance in support of his Ecuadorian counterpart and also wished for a speedy restoration of peace ahead of the growing violence in Ecuador.
