On X, the Cuban leader reaffirmed his nation´s firm support to the lawsuit filed by South Africa in the International Court of Justice against Israel for its crimes and genocidal acts committed against Palestinians.

The Cuban leader attached to his message today´s statement issued by Foreign Ministry (MINREX) in strong support of the legal proceedings, which should be understood and heeded as a pressing call to halt the horrible international genocide crimes, crimes against humanity and apartheid committed by the Zionist State of Israel.

In the statement, MINREX expressed its deep concern over Israel´s constant escalated violence over the illegally-occupied Palestinian territories, in flagrant violation of the UN Charter and international law.

MINREX also reaffirmed its strong condemnation of the killing of civilians, especially women, children and UN humanitarian staffers, as well as the indiscriminate bombing over Palestinian population as well as ravaged houses, hospitals and civilian infrastructure.
