Venezuelan FM thanked Cuba for its unwavering solidarity

Caracas, Jan 10 (Prensa Latina) Venezuela's Foreign Minister, Yván Gil, thanked Cuba for its unchanging solidarity and consequence, it was kown here.

“Together we will win!”, the top diplomat stated last night on his X account.

The text of the Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs responded to the message of his counterpart from the Caribbean island, Bruno Rodríguez, who rejected the U.S. attempts to strip the Venezuelan people and State of the Citgo company.

We reiterate our invariable solidarity with sister Venezuela and “demand the total lifting of the unilateral coercive measures that harm the normal functioning of its economy,” Rodriguez said on the social network.

The Bolivarian government yesterday rejected the decision of the Supreme Court of Justice of the United States, in relation to the “vulgar plundering” taking place in that country against the company Citgo Petroleum Corporation (Citgo).

The decision constitutes an additional step in the “multiform aggression” being carried out by the US institutions against the Bolivarian Republic, a press release issued by the Minister of Communication and Information Freddy Ñáñez stated.

The text underlined that the purpose is to plunder the people of the assets that belong to them, in “clear transgression” of the norms that govern the peaceful coexistence between States.

The Bolivarian government ratified that it will continue to adopt all “political, diplomatic and legal measures at its disposal” to prevent the consummation of the definitive dispossession of the company, a subsidiary of the state-owned Petróleos de Venezuela.
