Among the inmates who escaped from a prison in Riobamba is Fabricio Colon Pico, arrested last Friday after he tried to kill Diana Salazar, Attorney General of the State.
Meanwhile, the president of the National Court of Justice, Ivan Saquicela, told Notimundo radio station that a device exploded near his home.
On the other hand, in Esmeraldas, cars were set on fire, while in the city of Machala, three police officers were kidnapped.
