As part of their visit, Jennifer Astrid Pech Pat, Academic Director, and Henry Curbelo, Professor at the Mundo Maya University, Campeche Campus, held a working meeting with professors and scientific leaders of this southern house of higher education, with the aim of establishing possible research projects.
The directors of the Mundo Maya University, Campeche Campus, exchanged with scientific leaders and representatives of two study centers of the southern University: the Center for Sociocultural Studies and the Center for Energy and Environmental Studies.
In the meeting, there was dialogue about the lines of research and work carried out by these centers within the university context and their social impact; in addition to establishing collaborative alliances for mutual benefit.
The Mexican visitors were also interested in the collaboration projections with the Universo Sur Editorial, who, led by Denis Fernández, Deputy Director of Scientific and Technical Information at the UCF, learned about the main services and goals achieved during this last year by the work team in this area.
The Mundo Maya University, Campus Campeche, is one of the best institutions to study in the state of Campeche, Mexico. In its classrooms you can study 27 bachelor degrees, 13 master degrees, 1 doctorate and 4 specialties.
For its part, the University of Cienfuegos has more than 140 international agreements, which has made it possible to strengthen strategic alliances in the socialization of knowledge with its counterparts in the world.
The advantages of joint research and projects have provided the southern center with top-level technology equipment that is used in the development of teaching and that results in the impact of the resulting research.
