Hosted at the Sharjah Exhibition Center, the event will run until January 11 and will once again be the largest exhibition of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa region, organizers announced.
Companies from 35 countries are participating in this year’s SteelFab to showcase the latest findings in the field of metal industries, Expo Center Sharjah commercial director Mohammed Al Omrani confirmed.
Global manufacturers and suppliers in the sector will be able to see innovative technologies and industrial solutions presented by leading steel companies from Germany, Italy, the United States, China, the Netherlands, India and the host nation.
According to WAM news agency, the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority in Sharjah will also use the event to showcase investment opportunities in the district, with easy access to the port of Hamriyah, global logistics solutions and significant tax benefits.
The themes of the fair cover a wide range of products and services: from different types of steel and special steels to welding and cutting equipment, as well as solutions in industrial automation and robotics.
As such, it places special emphasis on technologies and innovations, including advanced processing methods and Artificial Intelligence.
