This time, Varadero ranked 48th among the 50 best, while for many people from all over the world who have visited that Cuban beach, it represents much more.
The list was made by more than 750 judges, including travel journalists, influencers, explorers and so-called Beach Ambassadors.
The 50 best beaches in the world in 2023 is a website dedicated to such evaluations.
Thus, Varadero, which is some 140 kilometers east of Havana, Cuba’s capital, was included again in the records on the beauties and other goodness of that coastal resort, which is always related to good environmental management, despite being the major tourist attraction.
On this occasion, regarding the list of the world’s best 50 beaches, Piha (New Zealand) and Pink Sand (Bahamas Islands) ranked 49th and 50th respectively.
The prize or first place went to Lucky Bay, Australia, which has 303 sunny days a year.
The judges noted that it is home to a multitude of kangaroos.
It also has snow-white sand and turquoise waters, and it is located in Cape Le Grand National Park.
