In 2024, Cuba and Mongolia will be celebrating 64 years of diplomatic relations with excellent ties based on cooperation, friendship and mutual respect.

Recently, past September, the Mongolian president paid an official visit to Cuba on the occasion of the G77+China Summit.

During his stay in the Caribbean nation, Khürelsükh was welcomed by President Díaz-Canel in a brotherly meeting, in which both leaders agreed upon the potential for strengthening economic, trade and cooperation relations for the benefit of both nations.

At the meeting, President Díaz-Canel confirmed the great significance for Cubans of Khürelsükh´s visit to Cuba.

Yourself, your people and government are so close friends to Cuba; our friendship, mutual respect, collaboration and solidarity relations have been forged on solid foundations, built by historical relations by the fundamental leaders of our processes, the Cuban president said.
