The audiovisual project, which is in the pre-production phase, will tell the events that then provoked massive mobilizations in the neighboring country to demand justice for the crime, added the local newspaper.
The production company Haddock Films, an Argentine company that produced hits such as the Oscar-winning film El Secreto de sus Ojos (2009), is in charge of making the series, adds the publication, based on Buenos Aires sources.
Those responsible for the project -explains Última Hora- held conversations with Silvino Báez and Graciela Sosa, the parents of young Fernando, who was killed four years ago by kicking and punching him by a group of rugby players.
The newspaper specifies that the participants in the murder, Máximo Thomsen (23 years old), Ciro Pertossi (22), Enzo Comelli (22), Matías Benicelli (23) and Luciano Pertossi (21) were declared “co-authors” of the homicide and sentenced to life imprisonment.
