In a message to Cubans, through Prensa Latina, on the 65th anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution on the island, the Indian student leader condemned Washington’s economic war against the Caribbean nation, which he described as inhuman.
He also depicted the island’s revolutionary process as an ideal and an inspiration in his country, mainly for the youth.
On behalf of his organization, Biswas said that in times when neoliberalism is being advocated, the Cuban alternative model is perfect with achievements in health and education sectors.
The way in which they are advancing in the emancipation of women and workers and in the struggle against imperialism, is also a guide for all third world countries like ours, he said.
The SFI Secretary General also highlighted the support of the Caribbean island to just causes in the world, such as the denunciation of the genocide of which the Palestinian people are victims today.
Finally, he reiterated his congratulations to Cuba for such an important date, as well as for its sacrifice and fighting spirit. Hasta la Victoria Siempre. Long live Cuba, the Indian student leader concluded his message.
