Sixty-five years ago the Cuban people decided to follow the path they had chosen, of justice and solidarity, the organization created in 1998 to promote rapprochement between France and the Antillean nation stressed in a statement.
According to Cuba Linda, since then the Revolution of January 1, 1959 demonstrates that another world is possible, in which education and health are free for all people and access to sports and culture is also guaranteed.
At the same time, it supports many other parts of the world with its doctors, vaccines and literacy methods, he added.
The association stressed that the social commitment and internationalism of the Cuban Revolution are materialized despite the constant aggressions of the United States, which has imposed an iron blockade on the island for more than six decades.
Washington cannot accept a system different from the one that buys or sells everything for the benefit of a few, that is the reason for its cruelty towards the Caribbean country, he denounced.
In this sense, the French organization ratified its vision that the Cuban Revolution represents “a beacon for the peoples of the world and the hope for a better world”.
